Here's one I didn't know until someone emailed it to me. Pick up your D700. Press the Info button to see the Information Shooting Display. Pay close attention to the lower right corner as you press the Zoom Out button. Yep, you can quickly see what the button+dial functions are set to. The UI is a little screwy, though. If you want to set those two other functions from that screen, you have to wait until the screen tips are up before pressing the Zoom Out button. If you don't have button+dial functions set, you won't see it.
